FRAMED FOLIO SIZE COLORED LITHOGRAPH BY N. CURRIER TITLED "ARGUING THE POINT"

An evocative hand colored lithograph by N. Currier (American 1813-1888), after a painting by A.F.Tait, titled "Arguing the Point", depicting a group of rural men engaged in an apparently good natured discussion with a child, a dog and a woman in the background, all in a frontier setting. This image is included in The Currier & Ives Best Fifty published by the American Historical Print Collectors Society. First state, published in 1855 by N.Currier. Beautifully framed and archivally matted.
