A SET OF 3 ENGLISH EARLY VICTORIAN STEEL AND BRASS FIRE TOOLS

An attractive set of English brass and steel fire tools consisting of a shovel with a pierced blade, tongs and poker. The brass handles are designed in an elaborately stylized foliate manner. The shafts of the tools are polished steel. This handsome and useful set of firetools dates from the early Victorian period, circa 1840-1860.
