A fine English mahogany ebony trimmed bow front stick barometer, made and signed by Worthington of London, a prominent maker of scientific instruments in the first half of the nineteenth century. It features a silvered brass scale calibrated for readings from 27-31 inches with a sliding vernier as well as an alcohol thermometer. The instrument is in good original working condition. Setting knob replaced. Only available in California for pickup or delivery within 200 miles of San Francisco.
