A lovely pair of Mason's Ironstone vases and covers with blue and rust enameled floral decoration on an apple green ground with applied dolphin handles. Now electrified and shown with custom shades. Vases were made circa 1840. Mason's Ironstone vases are made from a patented formula of china clay, china stone, flint and iron slag which was patented by Charles Mason in 1813. Provenance: Kentshire, New York. ($12,750)
