A fine English mid-Georgian mahogany side chair, the carved crest rail above an intricately curved back splat, the serpentine seat with a drop in cushion, resting on cabriole legs with carved knees terminating in ball and claw feet. This is an unusually elegant chair of good scale with fine craftsmanship and design throughout. Circa 1760.
