Ferdinand Pautrot (1832-1874). A fine and highly detailed bronze of a grazing female goat by the well-regarded French animalier sculptor who exhibited at the Paris Salon between 1861-1870. The base bears the following inscription "Amis aux Beauz-Arts Medaille En 1869"; further stamped "F Pautrot".
