ART DECO SCONCES BY MOE BRIDGES
$1,275.00
A rare pair of signed Art Deco period Moe Bridges bronze wall sconces, no longer electrified, consisting of 2 demilune rose colored and cut glass shades mounted in bronze standards with shell motifs, signed on the reverse "Moe Bridges Corporation", circa 1925. Moe Bridges was a well-known lamp manufacturer in Milwaukee Wisconsin. The company was founded in 1919 by Henrik and Ole Moe and became well-known for their various lines of high quality lighting fixtures. The company flourished during the 1920's but ultimately was acquired in 1934 and ceased to exist. Known more for table lamps and hanging light fixtures, this pair of sconces, in the elegant deco taste, are quite scarce. Minor chip to one shade at the corner. Circa 1925
