A limited edition printing of 2 books, The Ape and Cat by Jim Dine, The Madonna of the Future by Henry James with an original photogravure by Dine. Both were produced together in conjunction with the Arion press in 1997 in a signed limited edition of 200. The Ape and Cat consists of 12 original photogravures by Dine contained in a custom slipcase with an original work cast in mixed metal on the front cover. The Madonna of the Future is also contained in the same custom box. The 2 books are signed by Jim Dine and numbered 5 of 200 on the respective colophons of each. In essentially new condition.
