A charming sterling silver picture frame made and signed by Emilia Castillo, a celebrated Mexican silversmith, daughter of famed silversmith Don Antonio Castillo. Emilia is known for blending natural inspired imagery with traditional methods of silversmithing. The frame is a lovely example of her work blending birds and vines in an organic beautifully crafted whole. The reverse of the frame reveals an elegant and functional solid silver easel support. Weight: 401 grams, approximately 14 troy oz. (Silver only, with glass and back removed).
