An English mahogany late Georgian style 2 drawer small chest or night stand, the well made piece with an overhanging rectangular top above 2 drawers all resting on bracket feet. The piece has nicely dovetailed drawers as shown in the images. The decorative ring style hardware and brass keyhole escutcheons appear original and help date the piece to the last half of the 19th century. An unusual and charming small piece of English furniture. Circa 1860-1880.
