A rare revolving 8 day time and strike globe clock in a gilt metal case on a gesso and velvet base by French clock maker, Eugene Farcot (1830-1896), circa 1875. The globe was made by the famous Parisian maker, Delamarche and is signed and dated. The gilt metal case depicts the arts, painting, travel and astronomy in an allegorical manor.
