FINE ENGLISH REGENCY PERIOD ROSEWOOD WORK OR WRITING TABLE WITH A CONCEALED WELL

$2,200.00

Fine quality English William IV period rosewood side or work table with a concealed well or storage space. The beautifully figured inset top piece releases with the push of a concealed button and lifts out to reveal a storage area inside. The whole rests on rectangular side supports joined by a central turned stretcher and transitions to long trestle and bun feet with concealed brass casters. This is finely made example of late Regency neo-classically influenced design. Circa 1835
