A fine English Regency period leather upholstered club chair, circa 1830. The chair has a curved serpentine back with close nailed trim terminating in carved mahogany arms topped with bosses. The arms start with vasiform upper elements which transition to fluted rectangles terminating in moulded square tapered legs ending in original brass and leather casters. Sits very well. Now custom upholstered with nailhead trim and panlled pieces of leather.This is a great library chair.
