ENGLISH BURL WALNUT TANTALUS WITH TWO CUT GLASS DECANTERS

A very fine quality English brass inlaid burl walnut 2 bottle tantalus , the highly figured burl walnut case with 2 brass carry handles and an unusual locking mechanism which moves 90 degress to allow access to the bottles. The cut glass crystal decanters are square based with a pyramidal upper part. Lovely overall quality. The term "tantalus" derives from an ancient Greek legend.
