EARLY 20TH CENTURY POSTCARD WITH FRAMED PHOTOGRAPH OF GERONIMO POSTMARKED 1911

A postcard depicting the aging Native American chief Geronimo titled "Geronimo The Greatest Indian Chief as a US Prisoner" Copyright 1909 by W.H. Martin. Published by the North American Postcard Company Kansas City. The postcard is postmarked for May 22, 1911 and was mailed. It is framed so both sides are visible. Geronimo has a long and storied history in the United States and was the subject of a years long manhunt. Ultimately captured by the army, he then participated in a variety of traveling tourist shows like the Buffalo Bill's Wild West events. Archivally framed and glazed with UV resistant plexiglass.
