An antique French puzzle box containing 35 cubes which can be assembled into maps of Asia, Africa, North and South America, Europe, France, and the world. The box also contains six paper maps which serve as guides for correctly placing the blocks. Signed by A. W. G. L. which stands for the late 19th century map publishers Alphonse Wogue and his partner G. Levy. They worked in Paris in the late 19th century. Circa 1880.
