A good quality late Meiji period Japanese keyaki wood kaidan or step tansu in two parts, the small three step upper stage with two sliding doors and a single small drawer, the large lower stage with four steps, two sliding doors and six drawers of assorted sizes, all with black iron hardware, circa 1900-1920.
